I'm so proud of you!! I quit 7 years ago for the second time - but this time I never went back. The first time I was stupid and smoked one cigarette at a party, after a few cocktails. I told myself I would 'just smoke when I was out having a drink." Well, guess what? Before long I would have a drink in the evening just to give myself an excuse to smoke! I was hooked all over again, after being off them for 3+ years. Idiot!! It took me ages to break free again but this time I know the rules! Anyway, seriously - so proud of you. I have a friend who just told me she hasn't smoked in 21 days.....I sent her a link to this post and I'm hoping it will help her be strong! By the way, can you add a search feature to your sidebar? I tried to search for all the smoking articles to send her but it only let me search for recipes!

I am so proud of you. It did help me with a lot of health issues when I quit, like sinus infections and being sick all the time, but you are younger than I am. I am sure it is having a positive effect on your health in way that you don't realize yet, and you may save yourself a lot of bad health down the line by doing this. It *is* very hard, and you should be very proud that you have stuck with it. I did it cold turkey and quit caffeine on the same day...OMG, the agony. LOL I drink limited amounts or caffeine now though. You will look back on this and thank yourself for it later on, I promise. Way to go!!
