In reply to mimi rippee. It's hard to get board with either cuisine. I did know you can buy ghee, but it tends to be more expensive than buying butter and making it yourself. I wrote a post about it a while back. We use it in everything now...lol!

With dishes like this meat is not even a thought. I haven’t done much Indian cooking but their use of spices is amazing and a lot of their foods have health benefits too. That sure can’t hurt!

My husband and I probably think that Mexican and Indian tie for first place when it comes to cuisines. And it’s interesting that they use so many of the same ingredients. I love what you did here. And di d you know you can buy ghee?

OMG I love Indian stews!! Soooooo flavorful and extremely tasty!!
I haven’t used Ghee in cooking in foreverrr, this is a great recipe to remind me to play with more spices.
And such a great presentation too, serving it all in a bowl with the rice…ugh I know this tasted delicious!
