Pork Dry Rub

A sweet and spicy blend of herbs and spices for rubbing on any cut of pork your cooking. Perfect for BBQ pork shoulder, ribs and more!

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper


  • Combine all the ingredients for the rub in a small bowl and stir to mix. Rub onto the pork on all sides.


Double the ingredients or make even more depending on how much meat you are cooking.
Extra rub can be stored in an air-tight container for about a year.
