Classic Barbecue Sauce
This classic barbecue sauce well-balanced sauce is rich and smooth, with sweet, heat and just a touch of smoky flavor and goes well anything you pour it on.

- 1 cup ketchup
- ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mustard powder
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Whisk all of the ingredients together and bring to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Once the sauce comes to a boil, reduce heat; simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let the sauce cool completely.
