Ingredients

  • cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ teaspoon  garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill or ½ tablespoon fresh dill
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley or ½ tablespoon fresh parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • kosher salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup your favorite barbecue sauce

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Chill until needed.
  • Store in a jar or bowl with a lid in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

This dressing will thicken up slightly as it sits in the fridge. Make in advance to ensure the flavors are nice and blended throughout.
If you don't want to make so much at once, simply combine all the ingredients of the ranch dressing. Add equal amounts of BBQ sauce to the ranch dressing, as desired. For example: 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing to 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce for a quick salad.
