Instructions
In a large nonstick pot or pan brown the hamburger over medium-high heat, breaking up the meat into bite-size chunks as it cooks. Pour the cooked meat into a sieve and allow to drain; discard drippings and set the meat aside.
Add the onion, garlic, and red pepper into the same pot or pan used to cook the meat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Stir in the rest of the ingredients, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve warm scooped on top of toasted buns with chips or fries.
