Bears On The Mountain

If David and I had moved to the mountains and didn’t see bears then we would be pretty pissed off. Although a bear tried to eat a goat on the front porch a couple of years ago, I still love to see them on the mountain and to see one with a future generation along by her side is pretty special.

We finally got to see the bear family that’s been making visits on the mountain. David shot a phone video last weekend while driving past a neighbor’s house. By the end of this week, they had made their way to the opposite end of the neighborhood. It was reported that one of the cubs tried to go inside a neighbor’s house when the door was left open. Luckily she noticed and got the door shut before he went inside the house and no one was hurt. Yikes!
