Ingredients:

Directions:

Cut the cabbage into 4 wedges and cut out the stems.

Place the wedges on a large sheet of tin foil. Place two strips of bacon over each wedge.

Toss onions over the bacon and cabbage. Then sprinkle on the creole seasoning, to taste.

Wrap the tin foil around each cabbage wedge.

  2. Large onion, sliced
  3. (8) slices of bacon
  4. Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning, to taste
  5. Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil
Instructions
  1. Cut the cabbage into 4 wedges and cut out the stems.
  2. Place the wedges on a large sheet of tin foil. Place two strips of bacon over each wedge.
  3. Toss onions over the bacon and cabbage. Then sprinkle on the creole seasoning, to taste.

  5. Grill cabbage, over indirect heat for 40 minutes or until the cabbage is tender, turning twice.

  1. What a brilliant idea Debbie. Freezing cold here in Melbourne, no outdoor cooking, but I might just try baking this in the oven instead. It would be great with a rich stew, perhaps a Hungarian Goulash?
