LUNCH: Our first Cuban Cuisine: I had the Picadillo Habanero – Savory ground beef cooked with tomatoes, onions, garlic, bell peppers, cumin, bay leaves, oregano, olives, capers, and raisins. David had the Lechon Asado – Traditional Cuban roasted pork marinated in cumin-mojo sauce. YUM!!

APPETIZER: We both had the Lobster Bisque – Laced with cognac & Maine lobster medallions garnished with caviar. Absolutely amazing!

MAIN COURSE: Grouper Oscar – A Napoleon of pan-seared grouper and jumbo lump crab cake served with asparagus spears and topped with a citrus hollandaise for both of us. OMG!!

If you ever go down to the Keys, look for some of these places and give them a try! 🙂

You’ll have to forgive some of the photography, but I don’t like making a scene with a camera in a restaurant.

    The shrimp po boy looks crazy yummy! Did you see any six toed kitties while you were in Key West?

      Yes!! We went to Hemingway’s house for a tour. We saw maybe 10 of the 70 cats that live on the property. That was one of the highlights of our trip. I learned a lot about Hemingway that day and I got to pet an ancestor cat of his 🙂
